This Privacy Policy explains how Coastal Birth Co., operated by Kayley in Southport, Gold Coast, handles the personal information you share with us when you enquire about or hire our labour TENS equipment. We keep things simple: we only collect what we need to help you, and we don’t sell your information.

Information we collect

When you make a booking request or get in touch, we may collect:

• Your name and contact details (phone number and, if you provide it, email address);
• Your preferred hire start date and due date;
• Your preferred hire length and whether you’d like pickup or delivery (and your suburb);
• Any notes or messages you choose to send us by the form, text, phone or email.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and confirm availability;
• Arrange and manage your hire, including pickup or delivery;
• Contact you about your booking and hire; and
• Keep basic records of hires.

How your information is stored and shared

Booking requests submitted through our website are delivered to our email inbox using a third-party email delivery provider (Resend), which processes the message on our behalf so it can reach us. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it where it’s needed to provide the service you’ve asked for, or where we’re required to by law.

Website, cookies and analytics

We use analytics and advertising tools to understand how our website is used and how people find us, so we can improve it. This includes Vercel Analytics (which does not use cookies) and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised session activity and heatmaps to show how visitors move through the site. Anything you type into a form, such as your name, phone number and due date, is masked and is not captured in these recordings. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking, which uses cookies to measure whether visits from our ads lead to a booking enquiry. We do not sell your information. Our hosting provider may also keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability, as is normal for websites. You can manage or opt out of advertising cookies through your browser settings or Google’s Ads Settings.

Keeping your information

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to manage your hire and keep reasonable records, and then remove it. You can ask us to access or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing support@coastalbirthco.com.

Children

Our service is intended for expecting parents and adults preparing for birth. It is not directed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
